Stirfried Beef & Broccoli Noodles

Quick and delicious meal the whole family will love.

Stirfried Beef & Broccoli Noodles
Serves 6-8
  • 1 small head of broccoli cut into small florets
  • 600g beef strips
  • 4 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1 brown onion sliced into half moons
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • A couple pinches of chinese five spice
  • 3 teaspoons corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Vegetable oil
  • Black pepper for seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 5 'fantastic' instant noodle cakes
1. In a bowl whisk together hoisin, soy, oyster sauce, water, chinese five spice and cornstarch. Set aside. Cook noodles as per packet instructions.
2. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a wok (or deep frying pan) over high heat and add onion and garlic. Cook for a couple of minutes before adding beef. Cook until browned. Put beef and onion aside on a plate. Add broccoli to wok with a splash of water and cook until broccoli turns bright green.
3.  Add sauce and sesame seeds to wok, season with black pepper and allow to bubble for a couple of minutes before adding the beef. Allow to cook for a further 5 minutes before stirring the noodles through. Serve.
