M&M Brownies



M&M Brownies
Makes 12
  • 3/4 cup plain flour
  • 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 140g unsalted butter
  • 1 145g bag of mini m&ms
1. Preheat oven to 180°c (160°c fanforced). Melt butter over a low medium heat. Take off the heat and allow to cool slightly before stirring in the sugar and vanilla essence. Add one egg at a time, stirring vigorously with each addition.
2. Sift in flour and cocoa. Add 2/3 bag of the m&m's and stir until combined. Pour into a greased and lined 23cm square baking pan. Sprinkle remaining m&ms on top.
3. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes turning tray around half way, or until still slighly soft in the middle (they will continue to cook whilst cooling)
4. Allow to cool in the pan completely before slicing.
