Chicken Caesar Wraps

We love Caesar salad here and I had the idea of putting it in a wrap. These are easy to make and are delicious.

Chicken Caesar Wraps
Serves 6

  • 2 chicken breasts filleted (approx 700g worth)
  • 6 large wraps (I used Helgas brand)
  • 4 cups shredded cos lettuce
  • 200g bacon diced, fried off and drained on paper towel
  • 3/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 cup croutons roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning
1. Season chicken fillets with salt and pepper on both sides and grill on the bbq or griddle pan with some Olive oil over a medium high heat for 5 minutes each side or until cooked through. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into thin strips.
2. Take the wraps and start with layering the lettuce- placing it in the middle of the wrap. Add the bacon, then chicken, parmesan, croutons and finish with a drizzle of dressing.
3. To fold the wraps, start by folding in the sides, then fold over the bottom of the wrap and roll until secure. Slice wrap in half. Serve.
