Creamy Potato Bake

A super simple creamy and tasty potato bake which goes with everything.

Creamy Potato Bake
Serves 6-8

  • 1.6kg potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 300ml light thickened cream
  • 1 1/2 cups grated tasty cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon chives chopped (fresh or dried)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning

1. Preheat oven to 200°c (180°c fanforced). Grease a baking dish with butter and layer potatoes. 
2. In a jug combine cream, milk, chives, garlic powder and season well with salt and pepper. Pour over potatoes and wrap baking dish in foil. Bake in oven for an hour.
3. After an hour remove foil and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for a further 30 minutes. Allow to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
