  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • Black pepper for seasoning

1. Combine marinade ingredients. Place beef strips in a shallow dish and pour in marinade. Season with pepper and toss to coat. Cover and marinade in fridge for a day, or at least two hours.
2. In another bowl combine honey, 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons soy sauce and cornstarch. Season with pepper. Put aside.
3. Heat a small amount of oil in a wok or frying pan over a high heat and brown beef strips for approx two minutes. Add in buk choy and stirfry for a further two minutes before adding sauce mixture. Allow to bubble for a further three minutes. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with extra sesame seeds and spring onion and serve with rice.
