Curried Sausages

My kids love this meal and it is so easy and fast to make. Perfect for leftover sausages. Use any sausages you like.

Curried Sausages
Serves 6

  • 12 sausages, cooked and sliced into rounds
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup frozen green beans or peas
  • 1 brown onion sliced into half moons
  • 1/2 tablespoon curry powder
  • 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon vegeta chicken stock powder
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon plain flour
  • Vegetable oil

1. Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan over medium high heat and saute onion for two minutes. Add tomato paste and garlic and fry off for a further minute before stirring in flour. Stir in water and stock powder.
2. Add sliced sausages and bring to a simmer. Allow to simmer for 15 minutes. Add green beans and simmer for a further 5 minutes, or until cooked through. Serve with mash or rice.
