White Choc TimTam & Peppermint Balls

These are perfect for Christmas parties and even gifts.

White Choc Peppermint TimTam Balls
Makes approx. 30

  • 2 packs white chocolate tim tams
  • 250g cream cheese at room temp
  • 1 1/2 bags Cadbury white choc melts
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint essence
  • 2 candy canes crushed for garnish OR Christmas sprinkles (optional)

1. Blitz tim tams in a food processor until they resemble fine crumbs. Alternatively you can place in Ziploc bag and crush with a rolling pin (first option is a lot quicker!). Add cream cheese and peppermint essence to tim tam crumbs and blitz again until combined.
2. Place mixture in a bowl, wrap and place in fridge for at least 30 minutes before rolling into balls. Roll to desired size and place on a lined oven tray. Place in freezer for up to a hour.
3. Melt chocolate in microwave for 15 second bursts until melted. Using two forks, coat tim tam balls in the chocolate, Allow excess to drop off and place on another lined tray or plate. Top with crushed candy canes (or sprinkles). Allow to set in fridge for a couple of hours before serving.

Will last in the fridge for upto 5 days.
