Parmesan Crumbed Chicken Legs

An easy and budget friendly recipe full of flavour. Serve alongside salad and chips for an easy family meal.

Parmesan Crumbed Chicken Legs
Serves 6

  • 12 chicken legs
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning
  • Olive oil spray
  • Splash of water

1. Preheat oven to 210°c (190° fanforced). Combine panko crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano and smoked paprika in a shallow dish. Season well with salt and pepper.
2. In another bowl whisk together eggs with splash of water. Dip chicken legs in egg mixture and allow excess to drip off. Coat and press into crumb mixture. Place on a lined baking tray. Spray lightly with olive oil spray.
3. Bake in oven for 60 minutes, turning halfway and spraying with olive oil again.
4. Chicken is cooked when juices run clear. Serve.
